Who we are...

The Northcliffe Community Resource Centre is a community owned business located in the heart of Northcliffe and part of the WA Community Resource Network.

Our Mission....

Our mission is to provide up to date technology & services, connectivity, communications and resources to our local community.  We also aim to promote employment, individual skills development and to act as a catalyst for small business and community development.

Our Supporters

The NCRC is supported primarily by Northcliffe community volunteers who provide a management committee and who volunteer in the day to running of the centre alongside our paid staff.  Ongoing annual funding for the NCRC has been provided by the Government of Western Australia since 1994.

Currently the services and equipment continue to improve thanks to additional funding received through the WA State Government Royalties for Regions scheme, via the Department of Regional Development and Lands.  Additional funding programs are allowing us to mark our presence with new signage, to progressively update our computers, to purchase additional equipment such as digital art gear and to renovate and fit out our premises with storage and additional desks.  Other projects underway include fitting out a video conferencing suite, creating a Northcliffe photo competition during 2011, and running community computer training (our '20 Things To Do With a Computer' program).  Royalties for Regions have also provided support for a trainee program.  NCRC are planning to have two trainees working at the NCRC during 2011.

While we are thanking our supporters we would also like to acknowledge Donortec and Microsoft who provide us near-free access to Microsoft Office products.
